    Executive Communications

     

    Serving as the "voice of the CEO" for iRobot and Aspen Technology, I led the creation of all communications from the Corner Office. At iRobot, I put our CEO front-and-center on social media and other external channels, adding a trusted face to the well-established corporate brand. At AspenTech, I leveraged the deep industry exeperience of the CEO to build global campaigns around the company's highest-priority strategies.

    Marketing

     

    I'm a writer first and foremost, and I've created high-impact content in just about every format – from blogs and white papers to byline articles and videos! One of the most rewarding challenges in marketing and communications is finding the perfect medium to reach the audience you're targeting.

    Video Production

     

    Have you ever wondered if dog poop could serve as an integral part of your marketing campaign? At iRobot, we dared to ask that question, and I'm proud to say I led the creation of a video in which our CEO openly discussed this sensitive matter! I've also developed a range of more traditional video content for product launches, corporate branding and other marketing efforts.

    Corporate Strategy & Messaging

     

    At iRobot, I partnered with the Executive Team to develop the core messaging for iRobot’s annual corporate Strategy Guide, a resource distributed to all employees to ensure alignment on the company’s high-level goals. At AspenTech, I built the corporate brand messaging framework, integrating key messages from all levels of the organization – from mission and vision to industry and product marketing. Earlier in my career at the Boston Consulting Group, I helped create the messaging around the firm's new recruiting campaign.

    I've been a writer or editor at every stop in my career, and I truly enjoy being hands-on in the writing process. Most recently, my work has focused on executive communications and branding, as well as corporate marketing. My background is in journalism, and I had a past life as a newspaper reporter and magazine editor.

     

    When I'm not working, I prefer to be outside – whether it's mountain biking, walking in the woods or spending time by the water. I'm married with two kids and a goldendoodle named Gus.
